Dearly loved husband to Margaret. Loving and devoted dad or Iris, Janine, Ruth and the late David. Sons-in-law Mark, Herbie and Graeme. Proud granda to Claire, Joshua, Erin, Andrew and great-granda to Faith.
Friends and family are welcome to call at S & J Irvine’s Funeral Home, 31-35 Irish Quarter South, Carrickfergus, BT38 8BL to meet with the family on Tuesday 6th January between 2.30 p.m. – 4.30 p.m. or 6.00 p.m. – 8.00 p.m.
A Service of Thanksgiving for John’s life will be held in Carrickfergus Congregational Church on Wednesday 7th January 2026 at
2.00 p.m. followed by interment in Victoria Cemetery.
